Endometriosis 2026

Endometriosis Awareness Month 2026

Raising Awareness. Inspiring Action. Supporting Strength.

March 2026 marks Endometriosis Awareness Month, a time dedicated to increasing understanding, amplifying voices, and supporting the millions of individuals living with endometriosis worldwide.
Endometriosis is a chronic condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus. It can cause severe pain, heavy periods, fatigue, fertility challenges, and a wide range of other symptoms that are often misunderstood or dismissed. Despite affecting approximately 1 in 10 women and those assigned female at birth, diagnosis can take years.

Why Awareness Matters
Too many people suffer in silence. Lack of education and delayed diagnoses can impact physical health, emotional wellbeing, careers, relationships, and quality of life. By raising awareness, we can:

  • Encourage earlier diagnosis and intervention
  • Promote research and better treatment options
  • Break the stigma around menstrual health
  • Empower individuals to advocate for their bodies
  • Build stronger support networks

The 2026 Theme: Strength in Yellow
Yellow is the color of endometriosis awareness — symbolizing hope, resilience, and strength. Throughout March 2026, we encourage everyone to wear yellow, share educational resources, and spark meaningful conversations.

How You Can Get Involved

  • 💛 Wear yellow and share your support on social media
  • 💛 Educate yourself and others about the symptoms
  • 💛 Support local and national endometriosis organizations
  • 💛 Listen to and amplify the voices of those with lived experience
  • 💛 Advocate for better healthcare policies and research funding

You Are Not Alone
If you are living with endometriosis, your pain is real. Your experience matters. You deserve compassionate care and support. This month — and every month — we stand together in awareness, advocacy, and hope.
Let’s make 2026 a year of stronger voices, earlier diagnoses, and meaningful change.
