💧 Nutrition and Hydration Week 2026
16–22 March 2026
Nutrition and Hydration Week is a global awareness campaign dedicated to highlighting the vital role that food and fluid play in maintaining health, wellbeing and recovery. Celebrated across healthcare, social care, community and educational settings, the week brings people together to share knowledge, inspire improvements, and promote positive change in nutrition and hydration practices.
Why It Matters
Good nutrition and adequate hydration are essential for:
- Supporting recovery and healing
- Maintaining strength and energy
- Preventing dehydration and malnutrition
- Improving concentration and overall wellbeing
- Enhancing quality of life
For healthcare and care settings in particular, the week provides an opportunity to reflect on current practices, celebrate successes, and identify areas for improvement.
