Action on Stroke Month: Act FAST, Save Lives
Every minute counts when it comes to a stroke. This Action on Stroke Month, we’re raising awareness about the signs, the risks, and the power of acting quickly.
A stroke can happen to anyone, at any age. Knowing what to look for could save a life — maybe even your own.
Remember FAST:
Face – Has their face dropped on one side?
Arms – Can they raise both arms?
Speech – Is their speech slurred or confused?
Time – Call emergency services immediately.
The quicker a stroke is treated, the better the chances of recovery. Don’t wait. Don’t hesitate.
This month, act:
Learn the signs and share them with others
Check your blood pressure and overall health
Support stroke survivors and their families
Spread awareness in your community
Together, we can reduce the impact of stroke and save lives.
