LGBT+ History Month
This LGBT+ History Month, we recognise and celebrate the history, resilience, and contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and other diverse sexual orientation and gender identity communities.
LGBT+ history is rooted in courage, advocacy, and the pursuit of equality in the face of significant barriers. By acknowledging this history, we honour those who have worked tirelessly to improve visibility, rights, and access to safe, affirming spaces — including within healthcare.
As a GP practice, we are committed to providing respectful, inclusive, and person-centred care for all patients. We recognise that understanding the lived experiences and histories of LGBT+ communities is an important part of delivering compassionate and equitable healthcare.
LGBT+ History Month is an opportunity to reflect, to learn, and to reaffirm our commitment to dignity, inclusion, and wellbeing for everyone in our community.
